When you buy something through a link on this site, we sometimes earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's how we keep the lights on. It never changes which products we recommend. The short version: if it's on this site, we think it's worth your money, the commission is a nice side effect of a recommendation we'd have made anyway.

GO PAC is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate, GO PAC earns from qualifying purchases.

Our Amazon Associates tag is gopacuk-21. You'll see this tag appended to any Amazon product link on this site. Clicking it costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is identical whether you come via our link or not.

Other affiliate networks

Beyond Amazon, we work with a number of other affiliate networks and programmes, including:

• Awin, a UK-based affiliate network used for various travel and retail brands
• CJ Affiliate (formerly Commission Junction), used for selected brands and categories
• Skimlinks, automatically converts certain product links to affiliate links

We also have direct affiliate relationships with individual brands including Trtl, Manta Sleep, Cabeau, Tortuga, Pacsafe, and Antler. These are noted in the relevant pages where applicable.

All affiliate links on this site carry rel="sponsored noopener" attributes as required by search engine guidelines and in line with our own transparency standards.

Our independence

Affiliate revenue does not buy a recommendation. Full stop.

We have declined affiliate relationships with brands because the product doesn't meet our standards. We have removed affiliate links when products have been discontinued or significantly downgraded. We have recommended products that have no affiliate programme at all, simply because they were the best option.

The moment we recommend something because we get paid more for it, rather than because it's genuinely the right choice for our readers, this site stops being worth reading. We're not willing to make that trade. Our editorial process is described in full on our How We Test page.

Sponsored content

Occasionally, GO PAC publishes sponsored content in partnership with brands. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page. We do not publish sponsored content that conflicts with our editorial standards, and we do not allow brands to approve or edit our copy before publication, we'll happily show you the finished piece, but the words are ours.

Sponsored content is clearly distinguished from our editorial content at all times. If something is a sponsored post, you'll know before you read the first sentence.
