How we choose what to recommend
GO PAC compares travel products using things that can be checked: the manufacturer's published specifications, the price when we looked, and what people who bought the product say in their reviews. We don't run our own product tests, and we don't claim to have used everything we write about. If a page says something about a product, it should come from one of those sources.

Published specs first
Sizes, weights, materials and features come from the manufacturer's or retailer's own listing, checked when the page is written or updated. If we can't find a source for a claim, it doesn't go on the page.

Prices, stated carefully
Prices change, especially on Amazon. Where we give a price, it's the price we saw when we checked. On some pages we link to the listing or a search instead of quoting a figure. Always check the price at the link before you buy.

Buyer reviews for what specs can't tell you
Comfort and how a product holds up over time aren't on a spec sheet, so we look at what buyers report. When a point comes from reviews rather than a spec, we say so.
What we won't do
- Claim to have tested or used something when we have not.
- Invent statistics, trip counts or reviews.
- Quote a spec or price we can't source.
How the site makes money
Some links on GO PAC are affiliate links. Our Amazon Associates tag is gopacuk-21, and our VPN guide contains a NordVPN affiliate link. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We also sell two products of our own, a memory foam travel pillow and a travel plug adapter, and where we mention them we label them as ours. Commission doesn't decide what goes on a page.
