The idea

Edinburgh Castle up on its rock above the Old Town rooftops on a winter evening, the first lights coming on below. For anyone who studied there, lived there, got engaged there, or still says they'll move back.

The style

Drawn as a Japanese-style woodblock print: winter dusk, ink-blue sky and a thin moon, warm lit windows in the Old Town rooftops, with visible wood grain and soft colour fades, and EDINBURGH set in classic capitals.

How it's made

Designed by GO PAC as our own artwork, with the title set by us. It's a print of a digital design, not an original or a hand-pulled print.

Sizes and frames

A4 or A3, unframed or framed. Printed to order by PrintShrimp in the UK on archival matte paper. Frames are slim pine in Black, White or Oak, with shatter-resistant plexiglass and no mount, and arrive ready to hang. The design runs right to the edges.

A gift for the one who left Edinburgh but never really got over it.
